We can make a difference for Mother Earth
Sometimes climate change seems daunting but we can each make a difference. If we are consistent about being more mindful in our consumption, on Earth Day, and every day, it adds up and makes a difference. The wonderful thing is that the things that are better for the earth are also good for your health. You may already be doing these things, but we can do them even more:
-Eat sustainably grown food: insist on real food that is sustainably grown (without fertilizers and pesticides) since the less we dump into the soil the better. Organic is a great option since it is a way to certify the food you eat is grown to specific standards. At Pop Karma we use organic popcorn and sustainably grown, real food, ingredients.
-Skip the car and get some exercise. Walk, bike or use public transportation.
-Consume less. Reduce, reuse or recycle (in that order). Social media and society often prompt us to want more things, but the less we want, the more mind space and money we have. Do you really need that purchase? Can you reuse something? If not, can you recycle it?
